Places to Travel - Dubai, U.A.E.

 Beautiful beaches, towering skyscrapers, and epic malls are only a few of the many wonderful aspects of the city of Dubai. People from around the world venture to Dubai in order to experience the ultimate vacation. Over the years Dubai has ignored baby steps and instead leaped into the age of technology. Many visitors are always surprised at how different Dubai is from the other places they have visited. 

After living in Dubai for nine years I barley hit every attraction in the city. If you were to visit Dubai you would have to make a plan on what attraction to hit on which day. Starting with the older attractions, I would recommend visiting the numerous Souqs. A Souq is a market in which there is a copious amount of little shops with every type of item you wish to purchase.

The shopping in Dubai is unlike any other place you have probably been. The malls are huge with every type of designer shop imaginable. The Mall of the Emirates is one of the most known malls around the world due to its indoor ski slope. You could spend the entire day shopping and later decide to ski. The Dubai Mall is of epic proportions and even has an indoor skating rink. Shopping in Dubai will never leave you bored.

Traveling to Dubai will be a trip you will never forget. During the day you can lounge on beach, absorbing the sun and later that day you could ski down an indoor slope and sip on hot chocolate.

When visiting Dubai I recommend going to the water park, Wild Wadi. It’s entertaining for all ages and is a great place to relax and just have fun. Another water park is located in the Atlantis hotel, called Aquadventure. This waterpark features the famous slide, The Leap of Faith. Aquadventure incorporates the aquarium theme throughout the park. When in a tube slide you may find you self looking around underwater, seeing multiple sharks and colorful fish. 

When traveling the first thing people look at is hotels. Where to stay is the most common question when going to visit somewhere new. Luckily, when traveling to Dubai finding a hotel will be the last of your worries. In Dubai, there are many different types of hotels for you and your family to visit. You could attend the Atlantis Resort Hotel in Dubai or even treat yourself to a great getaway in the Burj Al Arab. Shaped like a wave, the Jumeirah beach hotel has a beautiful beach club where residents of the hotel can relax and fully enjoy their vacation. 

My favorite place to visit is Dubai and I recommend vacationing there to anyone. A vacation in Dubai is one you will never forget.
